In 1983, three Panamanian businessmen met with the idea of investing in the culinary sector. The Obaldía, Jaén and Anguizola families opted for Panama's native cuisine and opened the first branch of El Trapiche, on Vía Argentina. Forty years later, the quality and service have been maintained, as well as the essence of the typical dishes they offer to locals and foreigners in their four locations.
